Mindset: Eating is more than just giving our body fuel. Everything we do - every habit, every decision, every doubt - starts with our mindset and the way we think. In the T.R.I.B.E. we focus very heavily on your mindset and dig deeper to find out what is truly holding you back from reaching all your goals.

Clarity: It’s so confusing to figure out what is “right” or what is “normal” on this journey. There’s so much mixed information out there on social media and figuring out what its the best approach to take to reach your goals can be incredibly overwhelming. So many things they tell you “not” to do after weight loss surgery. They take everything away, so what’s left?!  The T.R.I.B.E. gives you the foundation you need to work on creating the best routine possible for YOUR life. Everyone’s lives are so different, so it’s no wonder our routines are different too.

Bariatric Meal Plate Method: Figuring out what to eat post op is arguably the most frustrating and overwhelming aspect of weight loss surgery. They take your stomach, tell you to eat under 1000 calories and cut out all carbs for life, and somehow expect you to just know what to eat and when. With my Bariatric Meal Plate method not only do we toss the calorie counting out the window (because for the record babe, calorie goals are bogus and carbs are essential), you will finally know exactly how to construct your plate to fit YOUR needs. You will learn how to build filling and satisfying plates and snacks that fit YOUR needs, your tastebuds and will have you hitting your personal goals

Intentional Movement:

Exercise should never feel taxing. I never want you to feel like you have to earn your food by working out, or feel like working out is just another thing on your never ending to do list. In the T.R.I.B.E. we have Certified Personal Trainers (ALL OF WHOM HAVE HAD WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY TOO!!!!) give you more than a month's worth of NEW work out videos EVERY SINGLE MONTH! Every trainer has her own style so the workouts will vary. There is something for everyone, and together, we will make sure that you are moving your body in a way that feels good for YOU so it never feels like a job you resent. 

Community: This journey is lonely, but it doesn’t have to be. By becoming a part of my T.R.I.B.E. you are ultimately becoming a part of my family. A part of the bariatric babe sisterhood. Your T.R.I.B.E. leaders (which includes me, Jamie AKA The Sleeved Dietitian, our VIP Members, and our Certified Personal Trainers) have all had weight loss surgery and know exactly what it is you are going through. Jamie Mills, RDN, CD-N - Jamie ( AKA The Sleeved Dietitian) Jamie is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who also had weight loss surgery! She knows exactly what it’s like to struggle with food and her weight. In December of 2017 she had VSG and her life has been forever changed! Since then she has lost and maintained -110lbs and now works with other weight loss surgery babes to help them understand nutrition, fix their relationships with food, and helps them improve their habits to keep the weight off for the long haul! They are here to provide you new workout videos (YES VIDEOS! SO YOU CAN WATCH AND FOLLOW ALONG!) each and every month so you never get bored with getting up and moving your body! Each trainer has their own unique style and I know you will just absolutely love and adore them!

Nicole, NASM CPT - Nicole is a momma of 3 who had VSG in 2017. She has fallen in love with coaching group fitness classes and helping weight loss surgery babes. She is here to bring you some fun, upbeat, HIIT style workouts that can be done at home or at the gym with little to no equipment needed!
