Bariatric Mini Course
Hey Babes! I’m so glad you’re here! For the first time ever I’m offering a step - by - step self paced course to support you with overcoming snacking and mindless eating after surgery!
As bariatric patients, we hear all these conflicting things, right?
“No snacks after surgery!"
"Eating in between meals is bad."
"Eating after 6:00pm will stall your weight loss, just drink water if you’re hungry."
"You can never live a 'normal' life post op."
UMM... WRONG!
There’s so much misinformation out there. It can be REALLY confusing to figure out what's what. And it kills me to know you are sitting here, beating yourself up, and feeling like a “failure” because you have let snacking and some old habits come back in.Â
Tell me if this sounds familiar…
You had surgery because you were ready to change your life. You were SO done with the yo-yo dieting and the never ending cycle of losing and regaining weight. Surgery was hands down the hardest thing you ever did but you knew you were never going to get out of that routine if you didn’t make some serious changes. And you had so much life to live and experience - you wanted to be able to go shopping in a “normal” store and not need plus size clothes. You wanted to be able to travel without needing a seat belt extender. You wanted to feel confident in your body and be able to stop living your life from the sidelines.Â
And you did it. You did ALL of those things. And for the first time in your life, after surgery, you were finally starting to be the person you always dreamed you would be.Â
But then at some point, eating got hard again. And now you’re struggling…
You get up each morning, determined to stick to your diet or your calorie goals. You pack your food for the day and head out the door with your protein coffee in one hand and your meal prep in the other. You try so hard to stick to your protein goal and be “good” all day. But as soon as you get home you’re rummaging through the cabinets, grabbing for the snacks and feeling completely out of control. You beat yourself up “Ugh! Why did I ruin all my hard work again?!” And that guilt and shame stays with you all evening and the late night snacking gets to the best of you. You go to bed angry and frustrated with yourself. Why can’t you just have more self control? You promise yourself tomorrow will be better. And the cycle continues.Â
Babe, what if I told you that the reason you can’t stick to your routine isn’t because YOU are doing something wrong, but that the ROUTINE is the problem?
Imagine if you could:
- Stop obsessing over every bite.Â
- Eat enough to keep you full and satisfied AND still hit your goals.
- Stop the regain train and get back on track.Â
- Let go of the guilt you feel every day when you aren’t “perfect” with your eating.
- Create epic, long-lasting changes in your habits so you can keep the weight off long term.
The thing is you can. And I’m going to help you make it happen.

Sam's story- how this bariatric babe lost 28+lbs following this method!
What exactly is a "Mini Course"?
Great question! I’m so glad you asked! A mini course is a course that focuses on just ONE topic versus multiple. That way, you can focus on this one area of your bariatric routine. This allows me to expand on this topic and go in depth on the reasons WHY I teach you what I do. But don’t be fooled! Mini doesn’t mean “small” it simply means “focused.” The video’s range anywhere from 5-20 minutes a piece.
How long will it take me to go through? I'm super busy and don't have a ton of time!
That one’s totally dependent on you babe! Technically you could sit down and watch the videos all at once, however, if you space them out it will likely take most people 1-2 weeks to truly watch, absorb, and retain the materials. But don’t worry! This is why you have life long access and it’s self paced - you can go as quickly or as slowly through it as you’d like! It’s yours for life!Â
Who is a good fit for the course?
- Anyone who is has had surgery and is struggling with old habits creeping in.
- Anyone who is pre op or newly post op and wants to learn new habits early on to avoid these struggles with snacks later on.
- Bariatric babes who are ready to put in the work, take the time to watch the videos, and start making changes.
what others are saying
our commitment is To create the most inclusive space in the WLS community
From"binging and obsessing over every bite" to "no longer worrying about macros."
"I used to think I had to keep my calories as low as possible. My surgery center wanted me to keep my calories between 800-1000 calories for life. All that did was prompt me to binge. Since learning how calories actually work I've been able to advocate for myself to my WLS team and no longer obsess over the macros.”
Amy
From "emotional binge eater" to "mastering maintenance with ease".
"After learning the bariatric basics my anxiety with food is totally gone. I’m an emotional binge eater, but through using Jamie's Bariatric Breakthrough Meal Plate Method I’ve been able to take the power away from food. Using this tool, I learned new coping mechanisms and realized that there are no “good” or “bad” foods.”
Jessica
From "extreme anxiety" to "losing 30+lbs of regain without counting calories."
"The bariatric basics, along with the Bariatric BreakthroughMeal Plate Method, truly saved my life. I finally stoped comparing myself to others and started practicing daily self-care to manage my extreme anxiety. I'm proud to say using this approach I've maintained 30lbs of regain I lost for almost 2 years now without ever having to count one single calorie. ”
